Yes, but there should be a label un the ecu case saying something like bosch M 3.2.1 or M 5.9.2 or M 3.8.x

The engine is 1.8T, right?

here are two immo off for diff. systems. there are at least 6 diff types of managment systems. Try these two, if they fail I'll post others.

are yoy sure it's immo problem? Even if the car is immobilized it will start for a couple of secomds and die then. Does your car start for a short imoment or doesn't it fire up at all. Did you scan the the engine and immo?. What faults come up?

Anyhow, I ll send you diif. off solutions to your e.mail, but please scan your vehicle and post the report if possible, cheers
