That is quite an old version, there are newer versions here on DK.

Try this F6F6 363B 38DA 6B50 BD91 73F3 85 Not sure if it will work.

I can't install newer version on that laptop. It's a dealer laptop without admin privileges but with a key, I could get this old version working. The alternative is using an old laptop with win95 and an even older version of cat et

try to hack the admin. pass work by resetting it ....

use the hiren`s boot CD or any admin pass. cracking software and then upgrade ur ET software.

The only way I know to hack the admin password is to reset it which I can't do. The laptop is still controlled by corporate head office so they still use the admin password to put in updates.

The only reason we need this version working is this is the only laptop with a serial port. Using the Cat datalink through an OBDII adapter is required to talk to a Cat in a GM truck. I've tried a USB to serial adapter to connect to the Cat adapter and still can't get it to work on the newer laptops. None of the other USB datalink adapters we have will communicate onto an OBDII connector.
