Peugeot 406 from 2000 dashboard km change

Hi, what i need to know and have to change the km in the dashboard ?

I readed some topic, and i found out that i need some kind of device to read and write the BSI/dashboard , what devices is this ?

What i'm about to do is changing the dahsboard for another used, and the problem is that it will add the miles that was stored in the BSI so i will and up with exorbitant miles ...

Hi, thank you for your reply, i have a VDO dashboard, and a Siemens BSI,

I have to change the miles on both ?

What eeprom is used by these ? so i buy the correct eeprom programmer.

I need to desolder the chip from the BSI and dashboard and then solder it back right ?

Exactly, have you any hot air? There are 93c66. Maybe try to warm up the nail on the gas stove ;-)
