yes but is exposure to billions of people on TV is the reason its a winner for clubs.. not the trophy itself..

8 years ago Utd went to Brazil for the same tournament came back refreshed and won the league, Yes we could do without it, but you only get into it if you win the Champions league the previous year, and that is prestigious in itself, We're only gonna miss one game (home to wigan) and its not as if the Utd players are going to be slumming it in japan.

its a pain in the arse.. we've been there in 2005.. it'll affect the game after wigan as well..

It might have been a pain in the arse for the Pool, but it did Utd the world of good, thats what i'm going on

i hardly think it did you the world of good.. you left the FA cup and came back a laughing stock being humped at the tournament..

its not really worth it.. ask AC Milan

True, we did come back with our tail between our legs.. but the rest and relaxation was a major factor in us winning the league a few months later

Didnt have to.... the world and his dog knows the pool mugged them that night :bandit:.. i watched that game with 3 mates who are pool fans, to say they went mental after the shootout would be an understatement

each team is the club champion of its confederation.. i hardly think anyone there is 'shit' as you so elequantly put it..
AC Milan are the only UEFA side to have ever won it..
