im 99% sure this is what you have (Flea beetles), do they eat little holes in your radishes, cabbages, cauliflowers, broccolli and can tear the tops off a swede faster than you can say swede, they are a nightmare to veg gardeners, if so its called a flea beetle they jump like fleas when you approach them, you used to be able to get something called derris dust or powder to sprinkle on the leaves but it has been banned now but some hardware shops may still have some kicking around, you can use some of the bug off type sprays to get rid of them but you have to overdose the plants on it, the bottle says only spray once but usually it takes a couple of goes to rid them Flea beetle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flea_beetle) i bought the Provado ultimate bug killer bottle from B and q about ?4 for 1 litre. It has to be sprayed in the evening when no rain around, fingers crossed i not seen any more on my plants since i did them the second time.
