the chiptuning is for the new cars and not for one from1999
the engine will not support the add power, and you will have a several problemes like hot temperature engine
the ideal is to flash the ecu with original or with a dump where the power is reducing it's more saferty for your engine

yes, you are right, but a light tuning is ok , no?approx 10 hp, for recovering the power loses, in cause of time.I don't need extreme power, only a small help.Thanks.

Hello
Your software is A151. This software is 20 years old and the car has never been serviced at BMW obviously. There was a recall 2003 for these cars to get a software update together with new airmass sensors. The sensors have a different curve. Only new sensors are available so the update is a must have.
Tip: contact a tuner who knows what he is doing and take care about the software update first.
greetings,

This must be done with the BMW Factory tool.

The complete software will be changed, not only the datablock. And the encrypted AW-Infoblock will be rewritten with new program and calibration number. And some things more. Go to a dealer.

relyability is not a problem
with this engine just the diesel pump
depending on the miles on the car
i have done a few of these
and always put with 155hp
been doing that for 2 years and never had a problem

i have a tuned file for the 136bhp, runs on my own car for 2 years...no problems and very quick, 165bhp map

Also ive sold this map around 10 times to other customers...all reported excellent results.

Ive had my 136bhp 320d now for a couple of years, the 136bhp is better than the 150bhp model....

no swirl flaps, better turbo, and nice when remapped.
PM me for tuned files.
