I think the 9504 is compatable with VIA 6421 chipsets, however, the x360 is the most compatable on the market.

As regards powering the drive, you could use the xbox but its not advisable to do so. Your best with a ck3 kit.

And yes, just follow the jungleflasher guide or the guide over on xecuter forums
