Anyone may have a virgin dump of one of this?? Still can't get rid of 3 fault codes..wiring and airbags tested by someone else (a guy working for VW)..

I also think someone may have been playing with coding??

Hi mate

can I just ask how did you come up with this dump? It looks well out..It looks more like another dump than my dump cleared..

Not an expert on this field but let just keep it decent..We can't just play with airbags..I do appreciate you trying to help..Is this a tested dump?

Regards

VW Passat B6 2005-2006 has two-step front airbags.
VW Passat B6 2007+ has one-step front airbags.

It looks like, someone had put airbags from newer version of B6, to the older one (or the SRS unit itself has been replaced). First and second fault can concern that.

That's what I thought mate..In the first place I thought someone played with long codding as the car doesnt look like is been smashed.

I'll have the car in this morning for proper checks. I also have a quite big number of dumps from different versions..Starting point will be checking on etka if control module fitted is the right one for this car..

I'll post the outcome later on..

Hi mate

improvement with your dump..got rid of one fault code..so only 2 flagging now..

01587 - Igniter 2 for Airbag; Drivers Side (N250)
001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - MIL ON
00590 - Igniter 2 for Passenger Airbag (N132)
001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - MIL ON

This has to be related to 2 stage airbags this being a one stage..

Keep trying..
