Remove 3 silver rods that are used for opening and closing vents just unscrew, above cluster 2 t20 and 2 phillips pull strip that goes all way across dash just pulls up remove 2 panels with vents, remove with 2 t20 panel below clocks again after strip removed then 4 t20 for cluster when cluster is out i use small cutters that i use for discovery mcu to remove several white plugs then remove t10 screws and cluster will come out of case 35080 same as 7 series, cas unit remove all t25/t30 bolts and 3 10mm bolts to remove leather pad under steering column and then full unit where you insert key and light switch,i always use original rosfar either -2005 or 2005- depending on year rosfar will say not verified when reading but program anyway done about 10 of these definitely works, only problem i have had is trying to put less than 50 miles will show 999999 but 90 miles is ok took me 2 hours to find this out,not as bad as you expect.

Hi mate i think you must have taking tea breaks while doing that job it takes no longer than 40 mins start to finish it's a good job nothing like taking out a e65 that mite take 2 hours if you where not to sure where things are but it's a easy one for you z786 good luck

had problems with the cas on these the enigma and original rosfar would not read the right value. rosfar said verification failed?
so made a full back up off the flash and eprom then just changed the miles with the rosfar.
at the end it all worked out, and everything thing worked?
