So I need some help. I have 3 2006 Ford E-450 6.8L V-10's that have been converted to propane. I have IDS subscription and VCM (purchased threw rotunda) since our fleet has alot of fords.
I was having problems with one of them and deiced (bad idea) to update the flash. Well doesn't start after words and found out later that unlike most of the conversions that just tape into factory stuff this one has a special flash. I'm currently trying to jump threw hoops and find out from the people who did the conversion how to get the flash or have them do it.
But my question is does anyone know how to remove the ECM software from one of the sister buses and upload to this ECM? With IDS it doesn't go in reverse. Its flashed with the latest update and its not setting any codes, communicates fine, just cranks and doesn't start. I swap the whole ecm from another to this bus and it starts right up.
