these are called pogo pins you can make your own jtag and bdm adapters with the pins and some plastic
there are some advertised on the e of bay

but pins can be bought separately for isp also from the e of bay good project for reading
i wouldnt attempt a write without a bdm frame ect

but id like to find where the blocks come from as i wanted to make a couple of these myself

pogo pins | eBay UK (http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?LH_AvailTo=3&_nkw=pogo+pins&_arm=1&_armm=63&_ruu=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.co.uk%2Fi.html%3F_nkw% 3Dpogo%2Bpins%26_arr%3D1&_rdc=1)

try here a full page in the states though i have ordered around 40 and some of the holders

well worth a go i think to make your own connection rigs or bdm pads ect

this is the reason i was looking for a upa usb adapter 1 to use with the pogo pins
