99 Focus 1231 code

Hi All got here a 99 Focus, it had a very very low speed crash, 15-20 kph, no external damage at all, both airbags popped (the passenger airbag cover broke the windscreen!!!) I have replaced the airbags but it needs both seatbelt pretensioners replacing, its also got:

1231 longitudinal acceleration threshold failure

code showing (appart from the pretensioners codes) Is the 1231 code telling me it need new airbag ECU as well and if so can anything be done to clear it or is it a new or replacement ECU ??

The easiest way to clear crash data:
Take the crash eraser II. and connect to the car.
Choose Ford / Bosch and push button "clear crash"
You are done...

Exists a harder way, read the CR16MFR544 and manually clear the crash bytes.
