I read it under 24c128 but it seems that the file is 3 times shorter then needed (read it with another prog-DP3)
I`m trying to clear CRASH on BMW e60 2008.
65.77 9172018-01 HW22
BMW# 31917201801H

I did find couple posts but but nothing to rely on. What software can clear the crash in this particular module? Anybody?
Thanks :saint:

Allright: set up Xprog_m and their coverage is way better then UPA (and I cant install a driver for it now:( )
Here is the file:

I use SEEprog from Elnec for serial eeproms and BEEprog from Elnec for the rest of memories. UPA USB use for some Motorola, XprogM use for loth of things (locked 9S12 MCUs, BDM and..). Sometime i use UPA com port. ETL programmers for some Motorola, STprogrammer made by me for ST MCU-s used in dashboard. And some more programmers and never enough of programmers.

I`ve read my m95128 with DP3 eeprom tool (under 24c128) but it seems to me that the file is 3 times shorter then the ones I downloaded from here (thanks DK users!:adore:). I installed UPA USB on my other laptop v1.2 and just played with it (and google :) too) to see which eeprom to choose. So 24c128 should be the right one. It ends reading at 3FFFh, just what I need. I`ll read it tomorrow.
Anybody knows where the crash is? Which calc/soft to use. Tacho airbag doesn`t have it :joyman:

Do you have clean dump for it or somewhat similar? Any idea appreciated:beer:
It should be done thrugh Diagnostic as a lot of replies suggest, but it wasn`t me who scanned it so I`ll solder the eeprom back and try it the way it is :goodnight:

Test this one. I'm 100% sure that if this is 1 crash, not 4 or 6 than diagnostic should clear crash. just in the history will stay.unless your diag tool can clear history as well.
I would recommend clear with diagnostic tool, and post trouble codes. Did many of them E60,E90 and always clear crash together with other dtc using diag tool.

I'd say something with software, cos i'm getting that only before selecting chip.

see this !

I get the same screen, offcourse. I have something going on with the UPA device. I can`t install the driver on 2 computers after I plug it in. It stopped working suddenly, after I unpluged it with the software running? I can`t say but it`s useless for now.
Anybody has a dump for eeprom chip? (UPA USB)
The X-prog works good so far

i have read a lot of ST95160 eeproms with UPA without any problem.
i desolder them and read in an adapter.
