can someone advise me what the difference is please and which is best for spiderbox ?

newcamd is a cam.. a cline goes INTO a cam to enable a c/s.
ur better off getting cccam instead of newcamd

I would like a bit more info on this also please, hope you dont mind me asking, I give out Newcams and also i get newcams and also get cccams, The ccams sometimes struggle to connect but the newcams connect stright away, but with the newcams i give out sometimes the connection is lost at the other end after i have turned the tv off and gone to bed!! the box is still on which they get the line from, any ideas y??

the spiderbox is known to have problems with certain versions of c**am (although others will say different) so if possible keep to 2.12 and under. newcamd is basically the same as c**am although you tend to need 1 line per providor/package. regards mdt

But you can mix? also is it best to have Service+ on or off or does it not make a differance??

i dont know if you can have both systems running at the same time on a spiderbox as i never tried it when i owned one but i dont see why not.. you could always try. as for the service+ being switched on or off then it shouldnt make any difference according to the team behind the box. the reason why i got rid of my 9000hd was because of the disconnection problems and problems with dvbs2 feeds(both these problems have been fixed according to the team behind the box). id say try doing some tests with different versions of c**am and newcamd/fixed ip/dchp ect ect and see if you can get your box running stable.. if you cant get rid and get a vu+duo/dm800hd like i did. regards mdt

Hi I've got both running in tandem some cancel each channels out both glitchy but for wat I pay can't complain. I still have service+ on swell!!

I dont pay just can't understand y all my newcams work all the time but the ccams are hit or miss, as i speak all newcams connect each with one card and my ccams trying to connect but cant!!
