I have just fitted an internal sata 320 gb hdd to my 800hd it has enigma 2 gemini 5.1 2.oi sim I have initialised the hdd , after starting the process it says after a a few mins process finished . In the process of initialising it asks what file system and gives 2 choices ext 2 and ext3 which is corrct? I have read something about mount the hdd I do not see or been asked to do this . In another section of menu under gemini extas it says something about ftp mount, uername, password, then says-- status ftp not mounted is this relevant.
I do not see how to start recording or my next step in the process I would be grateful for some help here.

ext 3, find your devices manager and you'll be able to mount your drive. ( try blue twice )

OK I think I have done that , in Partition manager it gives Mountpoint:Long no Size of hdd , device:dev/sda , Parameters :rw,data = ordered . Question How do I Start Recording ie,. where in the menu do I go to start a recording.

Ftp to the box and go to media\ hdd and create a folder called movies, if you mapped it right, you should be able to record via your remote red button.

If I've missed anything someone will spot it lol

Go to device manager usually blue button twice and the red to mount points and change the mount point to media/hdd then red to save it should ask to reboot then after it has press red for recording options
