Mercedes APS 30 (BE4717) Prod Error

Hello Everyone,

I have Purchased an APS30 Car Radio / Navigation from a Friend his type C class Mercedes which I want to use in my Wife's Mercedes, an 1963 Heckflosse (Oldtimer). This Old Car doesn't have Can bus, so I can't use this Radio (after 30 seconds it shows PROD).

So I am looking for a solution to switch Canbus off.

I have read somewhere on a German Forum that I must edit adr. 199 from the 24LC04b Eeprom to disable the Canbus from the radio (from FF to FE).

I have solderd out the Eeprom and read it out :), but adress 199 says 06 in stead of FF. Is there someone who can tell me how to disable the Prod error ?
