Hi,

we need help with VW Phaeton 3.0 TDI DPF removed.

We have made the DPF off and the DPF is also mechanically removed, but the car still wants to regenerate.

After some km sity drive when the car stops and engine running on idle there comes a smoke from the exhaust.

No Mil and diagnostic errors, but only the smoke on the Idle.

Please can you check the file that we have made and if someone has a sugestion please help.

Hi

Unfortunately the car still smokes with the files for DPF removing that you have sent me.

I have programmed both Flash and EEprom, but there is no any difference.

Do you have any other solution?

did you disconect the exhaust gaz temperature sensor?

Yes,

The EGT sensor is unplugged. We have try with connected EGT sensor and with unplugged and there is no any difference.

The car injects 5.7 mg/stroke on Idle but the time of injection is - 6 degrees which is the problem actually and that is why the car smokes.

the time of injection must be mesured by miliseconde
the -6? is the advance of injection(commun on VAG with negative value on idle)
try to connect EGT and be sure that the temperature that it send to ecu is beteen 350?c and 550?c

The value for start of injection should be between - 2 and 4 degrees on that engine.

It is - 6 degrees and this is why the car smokes.

We have tryed with and without EGT sens.

I will try to connect it and check the temp.

this is the advance injection map in your dump before and after dpf off no change
you can see the value of advance of injection at idle -6?
and it's original
and you have flashed the ecu,so you have to reset the ecu
there is an option for injectors adaptation that must be donne
where the ecu will learn the flow injectors
good luck

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

We will try to code the injectors again after the reflash and see what will happen.

Best Regards,

Have you try also my files, without changing EEprom ?

Yes,

We have tried first only the file that you have sent me and when we start the car it started to smoke immidiately. Than we changed the eeprom too, bun with no success.

As I see there are 3 EGT sensors - 2 direct after the cylinder heads on the exhaust and 1 down just before the place of the DPF.

We have tryed all combinations for disconecting them.

Is it possible problem that the EGT sensor that is down before the DPF is pulled out from the exhaust pipe and it is staying in the air down the car.
