Grundig Beta 4 problem

Hi Guys,

I have a Beta 4 radio here from a VW.

I routed "+" and "-" to the radio, and whenever I turn the button to switch it on, it blows the radio fuse.

What could be the cause?

you may have a shorted diode in the radio or ic sound shorted ,or bad wiring

maybe shorted diode or week fuse you must put on 15A fuse

ohh great... seems like I have to take this radio apart and check the diodes inside :S

15A fuse can destroy the radio this is a wrong advise friend usually there is a cause for the fuse burning out so always replace the correct rated fuse.

Diode or power amplifier is s/c... do not put stronger fuse, do not conect speakers, check wiring... test it on desk... not in car if it is posiblle with curent limited DC source...
