DAS XENTRY 03.2011 in VMWARE + J2534 AVDI

Hello, I've run DAS in VMWare and my AVDI driver works with 04/2009 version of DAS. So I've updated it to version 03.2011, but as version 04/2009 seen AVDI PassThru driver, new version dont see it. DAS could be opened only through Xentry. I've installed in Vmware Pass thru driver for my interface and run program "InstallDASPassThru.exe" from VMWare DAS folder, but it don't helps me. I could open Xentry and DAS (through Xentry menu), but interface is not connected always (but it is seen in VMWARE in "Device Manager"). What could I change in registry to could use it with new version, where is problem? Mayby I sould write something in cal.ini or other file? Best regards.

Hello, my Pass Thru AVDI works very well with DAS 04/2009, but don't work with 03.2011, so probably there is no bug in software. I'm trying to run it with new version, not only old. Mayby there is a bug with AVDI driver or mayby Xentry don't let me use J2534 driver? But there is option to use pass thru driver in Xentry - Daimler AG - Service & Parts net (http://service-parts.mercedes-benz.com/dcagportal/DCAGPortal/menu.action?pageId=54) (Xentry Pass Thru EU) Best regards.

Hi!

May be your Xentry license key do not allow Pass Thru.

You may try install DAS 01.2011 to check DAS only.
Or fix das32r2.exe to start DAS without Xentry.

i am using 03_2011 without Problems but ONLY entering VINs not automatically

I've license key from forum (to use it, i need change Commonlic file):) And I don't know nothing about difference between Xentry keys. Do You have fixed das32r2.exe to use DAS directly (not from Xentry menu). Please upload it and I will check (but if i run Xentry and choose W210, DAS is started automatically, but don't see driver, or mayby Xentry don't let use J2534). Best regards.

Hello, You are great:) Xentry see my pass thru, but now I can't check if it will work with car:) I've only check it on computer. I could run 210, 211, but in 212 there was always fault (mayby Xentry can't check ignition (I've tick it in right corner, but after continue always error) or mayby Xentry needs "real" power from car; but it works only with DAS program - not Xentry itself - for me great). If I will have any 212, I will check it also. Thank You for help and greetings.
