Dear Friends.

I have a genuine Dataman 48Pro which is a fantastic tool.

Can anyone point me in a direction where I can buy some copy adaptors?

I have all the Chinese options upto 48pin and they work great.

Im looking at a selection of adaptors over 48 pin which I need these will cost over 1K if I buy genuine :(

before I go this way I wanted to see if anyone knew of some good copy options ??

Thanks in advance

Anyone have this adaptor: DIL48/PQFP80 ZIF 29BDD-1 ? (http://www.dataman.com/dil48-pqfp80-zif-m58bw-1.html)

Dam I got to to find a better supplier, I would like to make my own but without a pin out or knowledge of electronic components in the adaptor I'm stuffed :(

I think it might b? just as easy and cheaper to buy old ecu's and use this with a BDM for some of these flash parts.

All we need is a list of part numbers of What has what

I think I've done it, too poor to buy the original adaptor. The ECU is Delphi from Isuzu Dmax. Work well to me with Xprog-m and BDM-100.

Typical film ribbon cable (don't know the proper name) but of the pitch of 0.8 mm is rare to find here. The difficulty is proper paint coating removal without damaging the copper and soldering lead coating on the hand-cut piece. I used a very sharp cutter and a low temp small iron.

Wow 0.8mm ribbon cable is tough stuff to get hold of.

Anyone know what this would be found in ? :)

Just checked Farnell this looks as close as I can find to 0.8mm :) (http://uk.farnell.com/3m/3849-96/ribbon-cable-96way-per-m/dp/3332123)

Funny how some times you can spend ages looking then it comes right to you..
It looks like it has to be 96 way to get 0.838mm

Look like you're looking at the different cable type to mine but maybe you can try it if the pitch allowed and the cable structure not too bulky.

<edit> should it be like this (http://www.specialty-cables.com/flat-flexible-cables.html), now should be the the proper name 'Flat Flexible Cable'
