One month ago, I have bought an ELM327 from a shipping website for my car has some engine problem. It is a Bluetooth version, and it can support all OBD-II protocols and be used to read diagnose trouble codes, clear trouble codes and detect fuel pressure and so on. But the most advantage makes me interested is that it can work with my phone. Of course, my phone has Bluetooth and support windows system. I very like Elm327, it so convenient and useful.

Most people buy made-in-china ELM327, think it is very cheap (more than 20USD and less than 30USD) and does work with some cars. But, as for me, it can't work with all car models as it's product specification description, in the supported car list, it seams to be very powful, works with a number of cars, In fact, it only works with some of cars in the supported car list, or can't works with all ECM.

So, I advice buy a professional one-to-one scanner, like VAS5054A, BMW GT1, Renault can clip and more.

Here you say the ELM's don't work on all cars. But you want to buy one yourself. See: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f172/buy-car-scanner-wifi-bluetooth-254409/
So, which is it? Or are you advertising your own website again?
