Hi all,
I have a 2006 Mazda MX-5 radio, I usually suceesfully reset the Mazda radios with a master code, the 4 master codes that I have are:
Mazda 3 - 4989
Mazda 3 - 3511
Mx-5 - 1414
Mazda ? - 5989
None of these codes seem to work with the Mazda MX-5 2006 model Clarion that I have, does anyone have any other reset codes for later Mazda radios please before I strip the unit and eeprom it? It is a large unit and I'm too busy at the moment to strip it.
Reset when on error procedure is: Preset 6, AM, Auto M, Seek up.
Use buttons 1 - 4 to input code.
Hold preset 6 and Auto M to enter code.
Display should then show GOOD.
Repeat as many times as necessary, it will not lock the radio.
