TU..question. My unit says Sybc and when I do so the unit says sync done FE . When I unplug it it says update unit and goes right to sync?? Any help would be thankful

Hi mate open your tacho universal and look inside under the same board if there is a large 24c02 dill chip remove it and read it with another programer you will find one line of data in it just replace the data with zeros and program it refit chip and handheld will work fine hope this helps

Hi, Is there anyway to stop a genuine "Dashfixer 1" asking "Update Handheld" every few weeks, would the above work for this ?

hello milles,
are you sure is only necessarie to programme the 24c02 to unlock the diga?
or this option is only for the diga that have the big 24c02.
could you clarify better?

you can also take big one out and there is on other side of plate place for small eprom and you take an old ram ddr card and there in an 24c02 soic eprom on it just put it on your diga plate and it will work. dont need to program just unsolder and then solder on diga and works

but not all digas have that big 24c02. is that?
is only possibel to do with the one that have that big 24c02.
