Choosing a proper flasher

I'm in front of an expensive investment to a flasher. Really, it's mess about the info of the hardware. Very hard to find anything technical specific, only buzz words :/

So, here what I could get from the hardware I've looked for.

Kess v2 - 4200 eur, huge car list (even Delphi support), boot mode, checksum calculation, ECU recovery

CMD - huge car list, 5700 eur, checksum calculation

Piasini - designed for specially for Japanese cars?!

Optican - no support for Delphi ECUs (I need that)

MagPro - couldn't find anything specific :(

Powergate M - same car list as Kess v2.


So, my dilemma is about Kess v2 vs Powergate M. It seems that the Powergate costs about 2700 eur. It's 1500 eur CHEAPER than the Kess v2. Is that possible, what is the difference. I really, really can't find any docs/specs that can help me.

Can you give me any hints about what is better choise? Thanks!

Hello Zwyrol and thank you for the reply. Several days ago I chose the MagPro kit.

The Bulgarian dealer helped me a lot and thanks to him, here is the result:

Powergate is a good tool, it great for fords. But No it does not have the same car list as KessV2.

Kess is the best at the moment and looks to be the best in the future. Fool proof drivers and ultra stable. I have used one for a year and not had a single error reading or writing.

the other option is an original galletto masterm, Ive been told these are half the price of a kessV2, if you can forgive the industrial looking software interface, it very capable and has obd, bootloader EDC17 protected support, trucks and tractors as standard

wich flasher can do delphi ecu's? have kess v2 clone but it's very bad on these type ecu's
