help needed dreambox wont boot up

when i plug in dreambox the dream multimedia comes up but it is just flashing wont go past that stage thanks

Dream logo is usually just a bad boot. Turn off at the mains, wait 5 minutes, turn back on. Try that a few times and if it still doesn't work, flash a new image.

its worth while also when your box is back up and running to make a backup image (you can do that with dream up ),a back up image is a copy of your image but it also maintains all your settings/cams / bouquets etc . so that if for any reason you need to reflash the box you simply flash it with your backup image ,and after the flash upon starting your dreambox your box will be as it was before with no need to put in specific settings or reinstall cams and bouquets .
