FiatEcuScan 3.0 registration changed?

i just downloaded FiatEcuScan 3.0 to upgrade v2.8.2 which was registered with a keygen but it now opens as a free version and does no longer upgrade as a registered version (which worked o.k. until v3.0)
Did anyone else upgraded his keygen-registered version to 3.0 and has the same problem?
The only thing i can think of Yani added a list with all registered licences which is compared with the stored licences during start-up ??
Another laptop with an officially registered version upgrades succesfully as a registered version...

Where did you find keygen for FES?

i don't have the keygen - i was helped by a nice DK member....

I looks like all the key's have been changed.
I think only one who has a registred version can confirm it.
But I'm 98% sure that every registred user had recived a new key.

for my registred version nothing changed, the updates were installed without having to enter a new password.
on my two backup-laptops i have "unofficially" registered versions which worked fine up to v3.0 , therefore i think there must be a file inside the new program which contains all official registrations up to 3.0 and compares these numbers with the registration number at start-up.
Just a guess but i can't explain in another way why the official version still works and the unofficial versions (with keygen registration) don't work anymore...
All laptops are not connected to the internet....

Thanks for the info. Your probably right that all old keys are are stored in the application somewhere and it checks if it is an official key and then it accepts it or if it is not official than it needs the new key type for registration.
