hello this is my experience with a 2007 toyota corrola when will aply to years 2006 to 2007
i have to replaced the ecu couse when dead.
the key programmer do ecu reset that will relearn the key that is in the ignition to the ecu key that will can call immo box is under cluster. when the security light is red stady is in learn mode where you can reprogram more then one key.
to get out of that mode you cycle on an off 5 times.
the jumper in the obd cdl plug 4 to 13 for 30 to 45 minutes will married the new ecu to the immo box or key computer . this need to be done with a programmed key.
then you can use techstrem to do vin modification and erase dtc's. to copy a key with the sbb key programmer u use the programmed key. go to immoviliser -toyota usa - corolla 2005-2007- add a key will ask to remuve the key . insert the key . remuve the key . and insert the new key with the switch off and will count for 60 seconds . key will be programmed. i will tell that most of toyota have same procedure.:top:
