On 2.0 TDI removing a fuse won't let you read some of the EDC16, use BDM instead.

EDC16 is not like the EDC15 that requires fuse removing.Usually it asked for the dashboard fuse No? 15 or 11.EDC16 doesn't require fuse removing. You could give it a try but WARNING, you might get AirBag errors after so you must keep a diagnose tool handy like VAG-COM or others.Good luck

Some of that EDC16 can not be read through OBD with some interfaces. It happened me once when trying to read a 2.0 TDI BKD with same ECU. Could not read it with Byteshooter or MPPS (original, of course).

CMD did the trick through OBD.

Get it out and BDM it.

Some cheap chinese mpps have problems with the CAN not working, id say that if your mpps worked on CAN it would have done it no problem

Hello !
Use Optican flasher by that cars when other tool?s dont work. For these cars Optican works perfekt.( But only these cars )
If you have no Optican is BDM the last chance to flash .

I have BDM, Magpro2. Galletto, MPPS all clones. But customer not accepting to open ECU, I know that is safest way to use BDM.

I will try with magpro2.

This ECU read via OBD with MPPS without remove fuse , but you must set in speed options (MPPS) - slow speed (recovery mode) , ECU reading in 10 mins without problem. Problem is with remove FAP, if ECU is 03G906016JM this is FAP with additiv like PSA , ecusafe not working with this ECU . But i have good 100% working solution for this ECU , send me dump and i help you.
