Hi people,

I am here to ask for some help with my Mini Cooper D file.

Can someone help me removing its FAP? I already removed the FAP/CAT filter and did put a direct pipe.

I already tried to remove FAP from file using ECUSafe but when I select MINI ECD16 it does nothing to the file. Someone with "skills" and a good heart can please help me? I blocked EGR too, and ENGINE Light appears, not big deal, but can be "cracked"?

People, I will thank you a thousand times, and what you need from me, I'll make what I can...

Thanks a lot in advance...

Thanks a lot mate... I'll try... Did you remove FAP and EGR Fault? Or just FAP?

(Don't know if you did that, but I think it cannot be done using ECUSAFE Peugeot EDC16 "option" cause it processes the file but by the "wrong way"...)

Thanks again... :top:

why you think it cannot be done using ECUSAFE Peugeot EDC16 "option"
your sw:1037390199 and this soft is from psa
so you can make dpf off by Peugeot EDC16 "option"

Because car still regenerate, turbo boost increases a lot and car goes to safe mode... Driving soft, 60mph in 6th gear it does almost 1BAR (with something like 20% of throttle), if you try to pull, it goes to 1.48BAR (with obd reader)... Yesterday, after put the file processed with ECUSAFE Peugeot EDC16, for the 1st time I pull it, it made ~1.45 for 2 sec and starts regenerate... The secound time, I tried more time, like 4/5 sec and it goes safe mode... (dont pass 2000rpm)

Before that, when I drove with original file, car did run great, boost 1.3bar and 1.21/1.22 after push... I just want remove dpf from original file cause I read thar car will regenerate from X to X miles...

People, thank you both, but the same problem...
The files is the same as what I had (the file from levisdj has calculated checksum and the one from grinovsky no, but no problem with that, cmd calculate it...) that was done with ecusafe...
So, no boost control (1.48bar at push and just trys to control at 1.36?bar, when should be at 1.2bar), safe mode (after high boost) and regenerations...

Any options people?
I'll put it original to see if it controls boost as before the mod files...

Thanks in advance :top:

After put the original file, boost is normal again... 1.2bar and no safe mode at full throttle...
Now, the car will probably regenerate after X miles (or km here)...

I saw one mate here, "johncooper85" that said he removed dpf from his Mini and no problem at all... I saw his comments here @ DK, in ECU-TUNING.it and another... Someone knows him? I already sent PM, but no answer in none forum...

Thanks people!!!

Hi again mates.
After put original file, I was confident that car will not regenerat because I did 600/700 miles without problems...
BUT, yesterday it starts regenerating...
The same question again...
Can please somebody help me removing DPF from my Mini Cooper D?
Thanks a lot... :top:

Try this,too.

Not sure about DTC codes. There is work to be done at DTC table, but I am not sure how right now. Will study if I have time.

Thanks a lot for your work.

You removed DPF and EGR or just DPF?

With original file I just have EGR DTC and MIL ON because I blocked it... No DTC for DPF...

why do you want to remove DPF prior to EGR? Wouldn't make disabling EGR more sense in terms of efficiency?

Any news ?

I've the car stopped now, I am changing discs and pads in free times... But when I drive for a while I'll give feedback.

Thanks a lot friend

I removed both with this... EGR blocked and downpipe...

Downpipe has 3 bolt, but I didn't connect pressure sensors, just temperature...
