Hi folks, I know alot of forums have thier fair share of problems with people not searching before posting but I shall explain why the basic question.
Yesterday, myself and a friend were discussing computers and consoles in general and he said that he has a PS3 60gb that was not working (YLOD). It packed up last christmas eve and promptly went out and bought a new one. He told me that if I could get it working, I could have it! - WOW
Problem is, I know NOTHING about PS3, I'm more a PC sort of guy. Anyway, I brought it home, looked up on the net what could be done and sucessfully got it going after the reflow technique.
While it was working and I was having a poke around, I connected to my wireless and allowed it to run an update - not knowing any different.
Basically, without knowing what to do a search for, is there anything that can be done to jailbreak this unit?
It has got version 3.65 of the firmware installed from the update.
Sorry for such a noob question. but it's probably easier and quicker to just ask right off the bat than to attempt anything and brick it.
Much respect to everyone that hacks, cracks and does this magical stuff.
Thanks.
