Does anyone know if Master Diagnostics will work on the Ford version of these engines in a Ford? The 6.9 and 7.3L specifically.

First off the 6.9 and the 7.3(pre mid '94) are mechanical engines they have no computers. The 7.3l powerstroke is the ecm controled engine, and you need IDS with a vcm interface to connect to it, the Master Diagnostics that is with IDS is for the F650-750 trucks which will use the IC4 interface. IDS is the ford dealer/factory software.
