hey guys,
I need a new remote for key head for a 2002 seat leon.
CANT GET ONE!!!
Does anyone know if i can use same type remote from vw or skoda?? is it just different badge?
I can order new vw one or skoda one, but seat ones are no more.

not my key, its customers.
its is same as all vag that fits into key blade, not flip.
2 button radio freq.
vw, seat, skoda all look same,

Yes, the remotes from VW Seat and Skoda are interchangeable. For your car you`ll need 1J0 959 753 AG or 1J0 959 753 CT ( these 2 codes are the same)

I dont thnk they are the same,when i go to programm vag cars,i take all my vag remotes with me,and the only ones that they work,are the ones which is listed for that modle.


Since yours (2002)its a changeover year, these are also listed for your modle.

1J0 959 753 (CT )or (AG) or (N ) ,square type.

If you fail to programm these in,you can try the door method.

thanks for your help on this one, but why is it, that a seat one is priced ?50, a vw ?24 and a ford galaxy ?60?
if they can all be programmed to each other???
So, im now going to order a fob, its a 3B0959753G from 3d and listed models are
Volkswagen Golf 1998-2002
Volkswagen Lupo 1999-2003
Volkswagen Passat 1997-2000
Volkswagen Polo 1995-2002

Can i get this to work?
i have seen another thread that states you can use 'any' remotes on 'any' vag?? using vag com.
any ideas?

why?not sure,im sure some one in the forum might know,sorry.

I have tried what you have said with my ad pro,but in one instance only lock works but not the unlock!,you see?

These part numbers are all relating to the square flip type? did they use same part number for the non flip type or is there another? my supplier states these will work in place of older round type with number IMO 959 753 D AND IMO 959 753 E, and another IJO 959 753 N, can be replacement for IMO 959 753 C, so will any of these work or as i see it there was a change at 2002 model, so will i have to buy both??
