Hi, i need to read edc16 using BDM100

can any1 help me find the orientation to connect to pads

is the red wire on pin 1 or not?

I think on your pic is red wire on pin 1.
You need to check is +12V on pin's 2 and 9.
If yes then ok and it is bosch edc16 pin to pin ok...
CHECK first is my advice yes and check if you have on pin 6 GND too ...

Look if you dont have frame I suggest you to get one IDC10 connector as on BDM100 box and solder 0n it short wire's 3-4 cm long to get end which you easy can solder one by one to ECU so you will have good and fast connector which can easy desolder from ecu too ...
Here is my idea and my fast adapter - universal ;-) made by elchip ....

i was getting error code in diag to replace ecm
i have swapped 95xx eep
should that be ok to start? ecu numbers are the same

next time if i flash over bdm it shud be ok?

yes,if you flash over bdm it shud be ok
as you have now bdm100 you don't have to desolder
just read /write all what you can,eprom,flash,processore
to make perfect clonne ecu
