View Full Version : UPA USB & CR16MCS5 Problems

Hi all
can't seem to read a CR16MCS5
wired up as spec sheet but was concerned with p9 red dotted wire on diagram.
with p9 from upa connected I was getting vdd/vcc out of range...
with p9 disconnected I was getting frame error
took cr16 off the board now getting device not respond
any help??????

Dot wire on connection mean to maybe need LIFT up pin from board ....

Thanks for yhe reply I'll remember that.
so device not responding...... could I have damaged the cr16 by not lifting the VCC pin????

Put back MCU to board and lift pin Vdd ( Vcc ) and test again... if error lift all pins which go to upausb... and test

MCU back on board lifted vcc still nothing.....
What would the difference be programming off board to on board???

Your mcu was damaged when crash was stored.
You need another srs unit. This is unuseful anymore.
