Try with Reno Immo Hand device, they say it works for Sagem Safir2 ( 35 pin connector ). You have a big chance to work this out.Better anyway than to dig in that silicone for a prom !
If it doesn`t decode your Safir ( personally i think it will do virgin it ), than you apply other methods. That what i would do if i were you.

I put here Renault Immo hand device, i`ve took it a time ago thanks to dk ! I made it and decode some Sirius 32, older ones can be decoded, newer ones no. For your Safir2 most sure it will work, decode it. ( make virgin, use emu and get rid of keys )
You can dig that silicone compound to find the prom or try with that tool. It`s up to you, your choice.
