Renault Clip - Add card with replaced PCF7947AT ?

Hi, I need exact answer about Renault Clip ... Can i program
Card with replaced(blank) PCF7947AT .. if it's in program mode ?

Card it's from laguna II, 2002y ...

I do not need remote control to work !

Using clip answer is "no"

with aftermarket tool such as abrites or renault explorer "yes"

You have to prepare the new PCF7947 with Zedbull or AD900 to make the remote functions working.
If you skip that and simply program the virgin transponder to the car, it will start, but remote will not work.
AD100 can program it to the car, as for the Clip... I have no idea.

Earlier I had feedback from Renault dealers, they couldn't program the cards I made with their diagnostics. I could do that without problems.

You can also do it with T300 or Silca SBB.

Did it mean if I buy this one PCF PCF7947 Renault KeyCard repair (http://www.codecard.lt/keys/-key-chip-/pcf7947-ren-new-transponder-chip-ready-for-use-in-renault-keycard/prod_122.html) and replace old PCF and use Renault Explorer for ex. key will work good ? I think on remote control so ?

an you tell how to prepare the blank PCF with zedbull, if i read out a new chip zedbull says its in manchester cipher mode but if i programm to renault laguna the car starts but remote function does still not work.
I have original zedbull and renault obd cable.

I read with zedbull clone and it confirms ID46.
I replace chip and read again and zed says 'no transponder'

Is this normal?

Also, can I use customers old chip from damaged card and put onto good used card and will work or do I need to swap any other components?

Make shure the pcf is soldered in correctly or try placing the card on different positions on the zedbull antenna, i have it somethimes and if i move the card half a centimeter it works.

Yesterday i tried reusing 2 laguna cards and one espace three buton card by replacing the pcf inside.
After replacing the pcfs and switches i glued the cards using new housings.
After that i precoded the cards with original zedbull and programmed them to the car using zedbull an zedbulls obd-a cable.
It took 10 seconds to adapt each card and 30 seconds to store the data to the car all together it took 50 seconds to programm 2 keycards.
Now the car starts and remote functions work perfect.
If precoding has not be done the car will start but the remote function will not work, afterwards precoding is not possible because the pcf gets locked as soon as it is programmed to the car that means the pcf has become useless.
I now have original zed bull and obd-a cable, before i had clone zedbull and i managed to get the precoding done with the clone by using the transponder menu and choose renault and then choose a random pcf because in my clone there was no pcf4947 thats why i chose the pcf4946 that one was in the clones menu, this worked for keycard from espace i think ity would be thesame for al two buton cards from renault.
As for programming reused cards with renault clip,....IMPOSSIBLE renault france precodes the cards bought at the dealer to the cars vin number and renault clip only can handle those cards not blank cards not even if precoded with zedbull.

Sorry there could be another issue, if the pcf is not in cipher you can not read it ,

As for the question of swapping pcf from used damaged card to good working card.
All you would have to do is swap the pcf ic all ther rest are not programmed components so no need to swap. after swapping the pcf the car will start and remote will function.

I was playing with a laguna card today, managed to destroy one with a knife but got the other to read with zedbull after changing pcf, as you say, move it a little and it wont read.

don't know but you need a new card.
Read it 2 or 3 times to make sure the data is the same each read.
Then write the data from the last 2 pages into you new chip.
It shouldn't lock until you program to the car.

Just came back from hollyday.
On the clone i previeus had i produced transponder by choosing pcf7946 it worked for espace in the card was a blank pcf7947.
Remote did work, i never tried it on other cards but assume it will be thesame perhaps it has something to do with pc software version and or clone version mine was iea i believe 5.22 or something have to look in to that to be shure.
I now own a original zedbull from hickleys with the original obd renault lead, works perfect just produce transponder by choosing the picture displayed of the card you want to program and teach it to the car total process takes about 50 seconds for two cards.
If i can find some time this week and my order for new pcf7947 ic arrived i will borrow a clone zedbull from a friend of mine to trie it again i will post results here wit step by step instructions of precoding .

Is there a way to clone a renault key card? I mean Original Zed-bull can copy it but on a TPX3!! Isn't there a way to get the data from the old PCF7947 and put it in the new PCF7917 and just work?

Have some one problem with new PCF7947 ?

When I add this new virgin PCF7947 in used card for laguna 2, I try to read for prepare the card, but the tool tell me the transponder is missing, with old PCF7947 what it was locked can be read it with specific tool, but with new blank PCF7947 not work, I check with 3 new PCF7947 taken from china and the same problem.
When I add new PCF7946 is working to prepare and o read it.

Can be some lot with PCF7947 broken from new, or when it was scaned by shipping with xray or another logistic scaners to broken ?

It was in antistatic rol pack when I get tis PCF.
