Customer replace his own pcm with a used unit and now his 04 sienna wont start. I started by programming a new master key in to immo as he only had a valet. I keep getting b2799 I have followed toyota tsb for matching them but it just wont take. Now the original pcm is also locked out setting the same b2799. No codes using techstream in the immo and the sec light is out with all the keys.
The procedure I am using is master key ign on short the tc to cg (obd 4 and 13) wait 30 min, turn off ign, remove jumper and fire it up. What am I doing wrong. Thanks for any help.
