68hc05L28 upa question

I am tryind to read a 68HC05L28 in circuit using UPA USB and it say VPP out of range; any ideas?

Problem solved... I just lifted VPP pin...thanks

i ur doing ford endevour with thialand made cluster or something else. with tacho universal no need to open the cluster just solder 4 wire back of the cluster and do in mileage conversion and job done in 28 sec.

no use tacho universal on ford ranger on this kind of dash use the 912 cable or go like the pdf
because doing with upa casue temp needle work crazy.

Temp needle seems to be ok on mine after i read and program with upa... Thanks

i did all of them now with upa and all are ok.......tacho dont read them.......with upa have also back up for any occasion

tacho read always ?????? as old mileage and put new mileage convert to km and press ok after 20 sec trip ON and programming succesfful.That means after 40 sec for sodering 4 wire and 20 sec for programming in 1 min. job done.

i didnt try any dash to do because when i saw that reads ?????? i was afraid of damaging the eeprom.....thanks for your solution
