How to remove Toyota needles

Hi all,

Can someone please shred some light on how to remove the needles on the dash of Toyota dash, I need to access the back of it. please see two access photos.

No Problem, this is VDO.

just turn anti clock wise and put small pressure upwards and when u feel it coming out then push it upwards and u get the needles

Thanks all,

I tried all methods mentioned here on all needles on the same dash, and still can NOT remove the needles. I could not remote the round-black cap on the top which covers the needle. Do I have to do anything on white plastic housing on the back of the dash?

What I need is to access the curcuit where LED for ABS, P/S, Airbag warnning.

hi
use hair dryer to little warm up the needle and make push upward and it will come out.
