A4 Spare key

Hi all

yesterday i used the spare key in a A4 06 for the first time in ages. It will not open the doors using the remote but will using the key manully and when it put it into the ignition the car wont start and displays "safe".. i have chamged the battery in the remote with no luck any tips guys?

Yes i have the other key and it works fine. im thinking the key needs paired to the immobiliser but i am unsure as to how this is done?

Its main dealer only unless you have the 7 digit skc

Been a while since I did one of these for A main stealer (changed job) Liteace may be right but if I remember if one key works then you can get the code as long as the key that works is present.

tell us what tools did you have and somebody will tell you how can be done.or you goes to the audi dealer.
