Hi
I have a C4 Citroen with EP6DT engine the ECU Bosch MED17.4 has become useless ( due to acid from battery exploding previously ) and now I need to replace it. The car wont start.
I have sourced another one from breakers but it is locked.
Does anyone know if it is possible to put back to virgin or rewrite with immobiliser code.
guess I could always go down the route of changing BSI but breakers one is missing for this vehicle so dont have a matching set.
Here in Aussie we get touched up around $2000 for a new one, ouch...
