Need a bit more info than "my TV just went bang"

Ring your insurance company.. maybe time for a nice new ultra thin LED one

check the fuse from the wall plug it may be as simple as that. Also it could be an internal fuse that blew so may not be as expensive as you think.

Ha,in the early seventies i was into deep purple the who,black sabbath etc,but my all time favourite artist has to be annie lennox,i think shes really talented and i can remember her in the tourists(showing my age now)and now me and mrs grumbles are pissing ourselves laughing when we think of all the daft gear we used to wear..:roflmao:

Right then ,as asked earlier, more details would help.
Was the bang accompanied by smoke?
Is the tv still under guarantee?

Never mind his telly,i found out tonight ive got a jelly mould that doesnt work.Anyway,how about a thread where everyone who has something thats broke sends it in and between us we can get it all fixed?As long as everyone is bloody well insured for floods and fire and that..

What seems to be the problem red?Has she suddenly went `bang` and stopped working or is she showing any obvious signs of wear and tear like a big crack developing,or is she just starting to make too much noise and taking up too much of your money on general maintenance?Dont worry mate,all these signs are normal and they only get better as the years roll by...;)

does this include socks? there's a few birds on here that, i assume/hope, have gcse's in needlecraft

Ha,i could think of a few places where a couple of stitches would come in handy..
