lo all
my son has not used his dsi for sometime,he had a working R4i advance card working untill he updated the dsi yesterday:( 1.4.1E it says now
ive had a read up and tried various softwares on here but nothing seems to work,dont know if im doing something wrong or the card is no good and cant be used anymore.
any help please

my card has a web addy which is www.r4i-advance.com (http://www.r4i-advance.com)
r4i revolution for DS (ndsi/ndsl/nds) its a older card had it for about 2 yrs
ive been there and downloaded the said update file,but it says extract certain files over to the card,but cant even find the files in the download lol which its asking to transfer
help please boy is crazzzzzzin me

by updating your dsi you have block it from reading your flashcard,
some cards can be updated to overcome this.
i have looked at the the site you posted, doesnt look as if your card can be updated.
and if it could be updated you would need a dsi running 1.4 or below or a dslite to do the update....

my mrs has a dslite and its never been updated its about 3 yrs old i should think.
wot would i need to sort this out please

i don't think it can be sorted out.
it doesnt look as if that card can be upgraded for 1.4.1 or 1.4.2 dsi.
ive had a look on there site, it says nothing about upgrading...
it take it the card works in the dslite?

yep the card still works in the dslite.just dug the ds lite out and reloaded the boys R4i plugged it in and it works fine.
id also forgotten the mrs dslite has a card in aswell but thats a R4pro no addy on that one though
would the R4 pro be able to update? that way i could swap them round mrs has the R4i advance and the boy has the R4pro just a thought.

no m8, that will only work on a dslite and not dsi....
yer best option for your dsi is to buy an acekard and use your existing sd card. (changing the firmware)
