How to reset HINO 268 USA fuel filter light?

how do I reset the hino fuel filter light? (fuel pump with dots below it) on dash?


I did manage to reset the oil change light ok, but not the fuel filter light.

Called the dealer and they said it needs to come to them so they can use their software to clear it.

I have Hino Explorer and there is no functionI can see to reset it.

unplug one of the connectors next to the fuel filter and left like that. one is for fuel heater one for water in fuel detector.
That's all!!

That made it go out, I think I got a bad sensor. I guess the computer isn't even involved its just a bummy light in the dash huh?

you are right :) leave harness unpluged and you won't have that problem enymore!
