Are You sure that You have correct key? Used key with id46 on european models You can reuse without any problem.

The issue is some Honda Accord of same year use ID48 not ID46, so if yours did not work it might actually be a wrong chip being used. Also, the immobox/ring or ECU maybe defective. Also, open the key if it has a chip in it , it wont work, Honda Accord 2008+ uses in-built coil chip system not glass or ceramic so if you use a ceramic chip key it wont work.

I programmed successful with a "fresh" ID46 ceramic transponder. I say " fresh" because it's not LOCK . After program this ceramic transponder I read again with AD90 and it display LCK and it can not be programmed to another car
I opened the remote key and it has build-in coil chip soldering in remote board . I removed thi build-in coil chip then put the ceramic chip to the key . I have a working keyless transponder key.
The problem that why I can not program the LCK chip. I use SBB

the zed-bull have a special function to unlock the honda 46 chip
you can use it if you need to program the chip later on another honda car
if you need to return it to a blank 46 chip
you have to go to
options-unlock honda 46 chip-
after that you have to go to
unlock 46 chiper manchester
right now the chip is blank
i have done alot of them
and all is done
you can try it
