Need Cat CA3 latest Firmware

I need the latest firmware file for a Cat Communications adapter III (CA3) please. I'm Desperate. I need A.S.A.P.

If you just bought your CA3, The Setup CD should be included in the Box. If you buy this in a Dealer, just return the CA3 to them and they can update the firmware for free.

I'm not sure what version I have now but I need CA3_1.05.26.tar.bz2 or newer. I have a boot problem with the CA3 and the TC at our local cat dealer told me to try and flash it with the latest firmware.

Now I have another problem, When I open CA3 toolkit to flash firmware it says "The CA3 is not responding" Anyone had this problem?? If so what did you do to correct it?/

I use CA3 aprox. every day. Is something strange when connecting with ET, someday I need to remove & reinstall the driver and restart the laptop. Sometimes is working perfectly. Sometimes it's not connecting with ECM... Is an original equipment buyed from CAT. I think is some manufacture softwares problems.

U might have a confilte with other software try uninstall some also xp with sp2 is the best

I had to send the communications adapter III back to cat and they in turn sent it back the the vender that supplies it to them. Still waiting on it to make it back so if you have a CA3 take some advise and flash it with the latest firmware before this happens to yours. :hmmmm::hmmmm:
