I'm currently having a problem with a TECHNIKA LCD 32" TV that i bought 2 years ago, It comes on and then after 10 minutes, switches its self off, I have to pull out plug etc turn back on and then turn back on from tv, What could be the problem ?

does it keep switching itself off after 10 minutes after removing plug?

anyway these sets are famous for dry joints , I'd check for that first

What do you meen dry joints, and ill get the model inamo, and also its going totally dead.

It'll be the power supply; we sell loads of these. Usually Vestel 17PW units. Horribly unreliable but cheap to replace.

It's pretty easy to put it in yourself.

You won't by model number, you need to search for the part number of the board you want.

I have the same problem however I have a different model... Model number 15.4-830 its a 15' HD ready LCD tv with built in DVD and freeview. I have also had mine for 2 years and it comes on for a matter of seconds sometimes 10 minutes if I am lucky!! and then goes off again

Please help :)

If I were you Emma would follow the instructions on Page 1 of the thread.

Just change the model number ?
