Does the 2000 206 and 2000 406 2.0HDi have the same Bosch ECU?

The reason I ask, is that I am trying to fit cruise control to a 206 and would be looking at taking the parts from the 406 if they work

Also if anyone has the ECU pin diagram, I'd be highly grateful

Thanks

Both the 206 and the 406 can use 1 of 2 ecu's: the Bosch EDC15 OR the Siemens SID801.
Engine code can be checked in the vin number - 6th through 8th character.
At least make sure you use parts from the same engine code and the same management system. That could work.

Thanks for the reply. According to tolerance data, the RHY, RHZ and RHS all use a Bosch ECU.

Which one would use the Siemens?

ALL. Depends on model year.
Maybe even depends on the country where the car has been sold. I have seen that before with Peugeot.

Isn't that a petrol ECU?

NO. Siemens SID801, 802, 803 etc. are diesel ecu's.
