Hello everyone.
Having trouble with my ceasar.
It does the self diagnostic routine from star utilities(it takes much time until finish) and at the end of the process i get this result:

Many errors in log.
Faulty com port, rs232 cable or mux.

Thanks for your quick response mate ,but i think that the problem is here

and

"D2 State K-Lines (35) ... Total 0 (+), 0 (-), 35 Error(s)"

check port and cable if is OK
open mux and try to fix

90% is mux

How could it be 10% for the com port and cable if most of the signalling between the PC and the mux works fine? I thought it was 100% the mux but the question would be "what is wrong with the mux" and "how can it be fixed"?

Is it a clone Ceaser?
What error message do you get when trying to use Das?

:hahaha:
look the test result again
cannot fix hardware problems by software way
is needed soldering station

too many errors to say from what come

first step: check for bad soldering

I have looked at the results, unfortunately you have decided to jump to a false conclusion

The first picture is Strd50es's mux which he has posted on another thread.Since he has not posted the other side of the PCB, i have taken the second picture from the same thread but a diffrent post which someone else has posted. This picture shows the two regulators U24 & U25 which should be present on his board.i suggest he checks/reflow's them.

Also the error message he gets from das, can pin point what commands are being sent to the mux to determine which part of the mux is failing.

But as always the propaganda team jump too the wrong conclusions

boards from the two images are no common
completely different devices
U24 & U25 are not regulators
just see mux schematics, have it here

self test test give much more information, das/xentry do not show almost nothing

Schematic for which mux since there are hundreds of clones?
What are the numbers of U24 & U25?

That's what propaganda men will never understand, below are some of the messages you will not see with ceaser test

for clones with scheme similar to original, elements on this place are transistors, no mux without these transistors

in messages has nothing useful to help repairing the mux

impactops
14th July, 2011, 05:02 PM
There not transistors, firstly there labeled u24 & u25 not Q, my guess is that there 3.3v or 2.5v reg's

in messages has nothing useful to help repairing the mux

If you say so

Must be labeled as VT.
I do not know why they are so labeled, the Chinese crap
Track the scheme and see what is.

I really want to thank you ALL for trying to help me.
The pictures are NOT from this multiplexer BUT it is similar to this clone as well multiplexer.
Will take photos from the PCBs and i will also come up with the error when trying to connect to a car.
Once more thank you ALL.

Here some pics from the PCBs.
The error i get when i start diagnose is 9500 and it says that i have no voltage at 30,31 pins.
I say again that multiplexer is getting in the diagnostic mode,it finishes the progress bar and after few minutes i get the result at my first post of this thread
Thank you all again.

Definately a power supply issue. Try to measure with the mux live all the voltage regulators (Goran schematics can give you a clue about those). Seems like part of the mux is missing the power supply. Grab some datasheets for IC's and identify the pins where the power supply should be provided. Could be a GND missing problem too.
Good Luck

30, 31-pin RS232 cable fault probably. floor of the power may fail, but Caesar. max max 232 and 483 s are defective in another bug.

I think that i have to find a way to make it work again.
the reason for this, "Lattice ispLSI 1016" program, they have been corrupted or damaged AN82527 integration of the 2 units.
Cross-reference: an integrated program Lattice. When Caesar RS232 cable is connected to a 12v about the need to attract a stream between 0:19 and 0.25 Amperes.
rs232 inserted above the values of about 0.2 or 0.3 amps 12v Caesar is given under the current need to attract.

I would like to repair this equipment .....

But ISPLSI 1016 is locked.
Please HELP.

I would also need one new ispLSI1016 circuit. Actually these circuits seem to be easily available from eBay but would anyone have a source for a programmed chip, or the program dump that could be programmed to a new circuit?

i can be programmed but not programmed an8227 isplsi1016 lattice.
If you do need to dump to isplsi1016 supply.

This is not a piece of flash often deteriorated.
hy628400 corrupt your multiplexor problem. And 2 at the same time has to change
