I am trying to get my airbag light off. It first came on after the battery went flat. The manual says that low voltage will trigger the airbag light.
The car is 1997/8 Fiat Coupe 20VT
The serial number on the airbag ecu are as follows:-
TRW 46306560
200039-101
I have tried Fiat Ecu Scan but it wont detect the airbag ecu, i think FES does not support my airbag.
The sykes ACR4 with 30351000 (ABS3) pod recognises the airbag ecu but wont clear the code, just keeps asking to turn off and on ignition.
ACR4 with 30351000 pod gave the following information:-
The TRW2 option worked.
FIAT ISO CODE:
45 80 0E 13 3B
Production Date
970324
Serial Number
0174When i read the code it says
0001 ECU DEFECTIVEI have not found a way to reset this and i have not found a dump with the ecu type listed.
The discussions on VISA are very interesting and I may try building a unit (with my limited skills).
Can anyone help please?
